Orson's Shadow. Houston, TX 2005

I don't know if this has been posted before but somebody I met at the Memphis Film Festival mentioned that Auston Pendelton wrote a play dealing with backstage problems involving Welles's Brist production of RHINOCEROUS with Laurence Oliver and Vivien Leigh as major characters. It was performed at the Alley Theatre and can be accessed on the appropriate web site.

Although I can't locate & link to it (the Search engine comes up empty), I'm sure there was a discussion here about "Orson's Shadow" when it played in New York. Chris Welles Feder took questions at one of the matinees.

I saw this play in NYC last summer -- it was very interesting play -unfortunately when I saw the play the lead actor who played orson was out and understudy was in his place.. understudy wasn't very good which ruin the potential of this play
