Ron Randell, RIP - Starred in KING OF KINGS

Discuss the passing of various Welles colleagues

A tenuous connection to Welles, granted. Randell played the Roman Lucius, prefect of the Praetorian Guard, in KING OF KINGS (1961), which was breathily narrated by Welles.

i just saw rich little on the dean martin roast, it's the sinatra roast. has any one seen this? incredible cast, reagan, jimmy stewart, e. borgnine, jack klugman, gene kelly, orson, george burns, jonathan winters, etc, and the only time frank got up and hugged a speaker, it was orson.

rich little is not as incredible today as he was back them. i remember i used to think he was great. today it just seemed like a tired schtick.

Did anyone ever notice in Welles' narration of KING OF KINGS that he spelled the "t" in "apostle"? What's up with that?

Darn!
That should have read:
"Did anyone ever notice in Welles' narration of KING OF KINGS that he pronounced the "t" in "apostle"? What's up with that?"

Must be getting old....
