Question about Spanish CHIMES DVD

Discuss the films of Welles's Shakespearean Trilogy

Postby edmoney » Sat Mar 13, 2004 3:13 pm

Can anyone verify if the runtime listed on the Spanish Chimes at Midnight DVD issued by Suevia Films is consistent with the actual runtime of the disc? It appears that the copies for sale on the Internet are listed with a runtime of 105 minutes while Jeff Wilson described his copy as running 112 minutes or so. Is there more than one version floating around out there or are all copies listed with a runtime of 105 while actually running 112?

It is 111:03 minutes in PAL format, which comes to almost 116 minutes in NTSC. The box does say 105 minutes, but it's wrong.
