The Trial DVD - Best Version?

Discuss Welles's other European films.

In the films section of this website I have noticed that the Milestone Collection by Image is considered to be very good. Can anyone comment on the Laserlight version I have seen for sale? My guess is that since the Milestone version is widescreen and sells for $26.99 and is from a "pristine 35mm negative" that it is superior to the $7.99 fullscreen version from Laserlight. If anyone has seen both please comment on them. Thankyou.

If you need a Region 1 version, the Milestone is best by far. If you can play any region and handle PAL discs, then as blunted said, get the French version, which is the best yet.
