Great work! Not only for the TREASURE ISLAND page, but also for the pages on the Spanish Westerns shot in Almeria and all the other film of interest that have been shot over the years in Spain. Seeing the scenes from the films next to the location photos as they exist today is really a lot of fun!

I imagine anyone who hasn't actually been to Spain, may be a bit bewildered by the actual geography, so here are a few words about the actual location of the TREASURE ISLAND pictures:

Alicante is on the East coast of Spain, on the Costa Blanca, or White coast. Interestingly enough, the closest island off the coast of Alicante, in the Mediterranean sea, is the island of Ibiza, where much of the Elmyr footage Welles used for F FOR FAKE was shot!

Now, what I think would be really interesting, is if you do the kind of pages you have done for TREASURE ISLAND for all of the other films Orson Welles shot in Spain, such as MR. ARKADIN, THE IMMORTAL STORY, F FOR FAKE, and most especially CHIMES AT MIDNIGHT!!
