Welles dubbed in Treasure Island?

Jane Eyre, The Third Man, many others...

Has it been firmly established that the new dvd of Treasure Island does not have Welles's voice, that it has been dubbed? Just wondering...

Which new DVD version?

I think the UK DVD is the version dubbed by someone else...

My US VHS has Welles' voice, but it is not widescreen.

The English version DVD - I'd have to say it's pretty certain, simply due to fairly noticeable differences in interpretation. Although I haven't seen any comment by the company or reviewers on this. What confirmed it for me was that I had noticed some differences in what was spoken. Certain words that Welles' would repeat for emphasis didn't come up in the new version, so there's some palpable differences in actual wording. There's an Australian version, that looks similar to the English version although has different packaging.
