I have heard much about many of Welles's opinions on the media developments in the late 40s and 50s (widescreen, color, TV). However, I am wondering what Welles thought of method acting and method actors (Marlon Brando, James Dean, etc.) I know Welles was into Brecht and his approach to acting and Brecht was very anti-Method. Also, Kazan's whole idea of "turn trama into drama" sounds a lot like the "10 dollar Freud" Welles disliked. Anyone know the answer?
