According to Geekweek: "The extended take is a cinematic hire-wire act that pushes the director, actors, cinematographer, art department, sound design, and every other department to their limits."

Hitchcock and Welles are the trailblazers with ROPE and TOUCH OF EVIL. I would have included the extended take from Brian De Palma's criminally underrated THE BLACK DAHLIA (2006) on the list.

And now that the dust is settling, let me be the first to ask: What happened to Wellesnet?
