R2 DVD BOX SET - KANE / AMBERSONS / EVIL

Thought this might be worthy of note. Universal, which controls the RKO library in the UK (it's Warners in the US) has annouced that on 12 September they are releasing a Region 2 Welles DVD box set featuring KANE, AMBERSONS and TOUCH OF EVIL - Ambersons will of course be an English language first on DVD - I have no idea if the other two will simply be a repackaging of the previous releases. On previous evidence, the Universal releases of RKO material have only been fair to middling.

Roll on the Criterion ARKADIN - Be nice if they were all made available in this double anniversary year.
