Ongoing Radio Discussion?

Discuss all Welles-related Radio & Audio projects here.

Would anyone be interested in an ongoing discussion of a different Welles radio program each week? Maybe starting with First Person Singular, and moving on through that, throughout his career. Program under discussion would change each week, though older conversations could certainly go on. Topics for discussion could cover any aspect of the episode of that week. Anyone interested in this? Needless to say, you would need to get hold of the programs if you haven't already, though that is fairly easy to do.

If anyone has any further ideas for this, post them here. Unless something changes, let's plan for "Dracula" (11 Oct 1938) as the initial program under discussion, to begin next Monday.

What an excellent idea, Jeff! I have not heard all of the Welles' radio shows, but some of them quite often, certainly "Dracula," which I had first on "reel-to-reel" from Radio Yesteryear -- many a long year yester now, indeed.

Looking forward to Monday. How will it all work?

No real set format, I will start a new thread for each week's show, and we will see where it goes.

A weekly discussion of Welles' exhilarating radio shows sounds like a fabulous idea-- I'm in!
