Awesome!

That's arguably the best interview/documentary on Welles.

Though it was an October night in 1938, not 39 as stated...

The audio I posted is just the Welles interview segments, which still have a running time of 90 minutes.

Is it true that Welles did a week of shows c. 70 with Cavett in addition to the one you've posted?

PS: thanks for posting all this cool audio; the Watson is a very interesting and daring interview; he was famous for a show that was cancelled by the CBC for political reasons in 66, called "This week has seven days" (or something like that) and later became head of the CBC; he was always a brilliant fellow, and really challenges Welles.

I'm sure he did lots of talk shows. I wish I had copies of more of them. I posted what I have. Maybe someone else has more and can post something.
