2 questions - Anna and the King / It's All True

1 - Welles told Bogdanovich he avoided acting in ANNA AND THE KING OF SIAM so long as his partner would be Irene Dunne. Anyone know what was meant by his stance, for which he had "several reasons, none of them personal"?

2 - In the opening of IT'S ALL TRUE we get OW's voodoo curse story told to the camera. Where does this footage come from? There's no mention in the credits.
