Our local paper reported a comment by a young actor who's set to play "Hamlet," supposedly quoting Orson Welles. I didn't recognize the (indirect) quotation, and couldn't source it. Can anyone help? Here's the cite from the article:
"Orson Welles said the reason it's impossible to play Hamlet is because the character himself is a genius."
I didn't do a thorough search, but so far can't find it in Bogdanovich or Brady or Estrin's "Interviews."
Thanks!
