I stumbled upon the New Deal Stage website a few weeks ago. I'm not entirely certain whether this has been posted before, but i think the site ought to be linked to the main Welles Theatre page for easy access.

The first link contains various items from the Voodoo Macbeth production, including the playscript.

The second link offers a summary of "the play that electrified harlem."

And also, can anyone confirm whether Orson snuck himself into the Voodoo Macbeth production (playing the part of Macbeth's decapitated head. It looks an awful lot like him in the "We Work Again" clip)

I read Welles played Macbeth during the production's national tour, on at least one night when Jack Carter was indisposed.

I doubt the severed head was an intentional cameo, but I could be wrong.
