Terry: I'm sorry, but once again, I couldn't get any of this material to open up for me.

"Terri?" That must be my sister, though her name is Mary.

Yes, Glenn, mulitipart RAR files are something I don't like. Basically, they are a single zip file, but broken into smaller chunks. To unzip them, you need WinRAR (available here.) After that's installed, you need to right-click on the file maCG.part01.rar, choose "open with" and then "WinRAR archiver." Then a WinRAR screen pops up and you should drag its contents onto your desktop. WinRAR will then spend several minutes extracting the single AVI file and couple of text files that are compressed with it. A lot of bother, which is why I prefer an AVI file posted directly. This isn't my upload, though I'm glad someone put it on Rapidshare as I'd never seen it.

Oh, and make sure you have all twelve parts in the same folder when you start extracting the first part - the other parts will be dealt with by WinRAR automatically.

Sorry, Terry: I have had a Terri or two on my mind, at one time or another.

I'll have to set aside some time for another attempt to unlock your bounty.

Thanks again.

Here's something more your speed, Glenda: a broken 78 from my basement. I manually removed several hundred scratches from the recording :x before discovering software which does an acceptable job automatically.

I like this song. :P May it supply an optimistic backdrop as you delve further into the convoluted nuisances of fershlugginer 21st century technology.

Terry: Again, I thank you. I hope you are not pulling my leg on this one because I wouldn't know the difference.

I remember Ted Fio Rito well, used to listen to his orchestra on the radio, but all I was able to download was some real estate pitch.

I am indeed technologically challenged -- which is why I (and many of us) depend on you. It's just the last couple of your finds have not worked out for me.

But don't give up. If you look at other threads here, WE NEED YOU.

All the best, Terry.

What the fornication?

No, I'd uploaded an old song. My conclusion is to delete anything I have on Mediafire and move it elsewhere.

Try this link instead.

I'd love to see that Modern Art show. I couldn't download it with my Mac, though. Maybe it's for Windows only.

Like Alan, I still haven't been able to download your stuff here.

But in trying to, I did come across an obscure source which lists "Ted Fiorito and his Orchestra" as contributing some music for JOURNEY INTO FEAR. The IMDb does not confirm that information.

If true, however, Terry, are you being a devil with us?

Terry: I'll work on these new possibilities.

My apologies: Turns out the reference to Ted Fiorito and his Orchestra regarded SILIVER SKATES, a second bill picture which opened in New York City with JOURNEY INTO FEAR in 1943.
