Yes, the decline of copy-editing in general is apparent everywhere one reads, sad to say. In fact, I should have done some myself on my previous post since what I really wanted to know is if anyone here has actually read this book. Since no one has said anything about it, though, I'm guessing the answer is no. I'll have to see if I can find it at the library; I don't care to drop forty bucks on a pig in a poke.
