Thank you so very much, Jay. You know I may be some kind of charter subscriber to Snag Film. They certainly made me think so, but I never thought to search for Orson Welles there. Dumb!
My memory was that I'd seen the Paris Review piece earlier. I had not.
As it turns out, now, using their "search," I discover that they also have a CBS tribute to Norman Corwin, who recently passed, as noted here. "Corwin" is loaded with pictures of the second great master of Radio directing many of the actors with whom Welles worked. It begins with Corwin apparently directing him in 1941's "We Hold These Truths."
