Chris Welles Feder narrates online short ‘Welcome to Rose Cottage’

chris welles federSixty six years after she made her big screen debut in Orson Welles’ adaptation of “Macbeth,” the late director’s eldest daughter, Chris Welles Feder, is lending her talent to lighter fare.

Feder is the narrator of “Welcome to Rose Cottage” – a six-minute short she describes as a spoof of “the absurdly over-the-top real estate market in the Hamptons.”

The comic offering from RoFo Films stars Denis Faust in a variety of roles. “Welcome to Rose Cottage” can be seen on YouTube.

Feder is best known as the writer of the highly successful children’s educational series “Brain Quest.” The New York resident is also the author of the acclaimed memoir “In My Father’s Shadow” and a volume of poetry, “The Movie Director.”

Thanks to Joseph McBride for alerting us to “Welcome to Rose Cottage.”
