For a fellow who passed away years before the birth of the worldwide web, Orson Welles has gained a solid foothold on social media.
Wellesnet has maintained a popular Facebook page for several years at facebook.com/Wellesnetcom, as well as an active Twitter account.
During the campaign to complete The Other Side of the Wind, producers established a Facebook presence last year at facebook.com/Orson-Welles-432784776893981
Authors Josh Karp, A. Brad Schwartz and others have set up pages for their respective books on Welles. The Orson Welles Cinema Complex movie has it own page too.
Now, the Estate of Orson Welles has launched facebook.com/realorsonwelles to complement its official website. It features links to recent news articles on Welles’ achievements.
