The 2015 Sedona International Film Festival will be dedicated to Orson Welles with a slate of offerings that includes some of his greatest cinematic work.

Hosted by Beatrice Welles, the late filmmaker’s youngest daughter, the February 24 – March 1 festival will include appearances by renowned film critic Jeffrey Lyons, author Josh Karp (Orson Welles’s Last Movie: The Making of “The Other Side of the Wind”) and more.

Citizen Kane, Othello, Touch of Evil and Chimes at Midnight will be screened along with the documentaries The Battle Over Citizen Kane and Magician: The Astonishing Life and Work of Orson Welles.

In addition, the Goldenstein Gallery in West Sedona will host Welles & Welles – a joint exhibit of artwork created by Welles and his daughter to mark the 100th anniversary of Welles’ birth.

Like Welles’ birthplace of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and adopted hometown of Woodstock, Illinois, Sedona can lay claim to him as one of its own. Welles lived in Sedona with his late wife, Paola Mori, and their daughter, Beatrice, in 1977-78.

Ticket information and further details may be found on the festival’s website, www.sedonafilmfestival.org
