
SFFILM will kick off its fourth annual Doc Stories series on November 1 with They’ll Love Me When I’m Dead, Morgan Neville’s look at the making of The Other Side of the Wind and Orson Welles’ final years.
The Oscar winning documentarian is expected to be on hand for the 7 p.m. screening at the Castro Theatre at 429 Castro St., San Francisco.
Tickets, priced at $16, can be purchased online now at sffilm.org/screenings-and-events/opening-night-theyll-love-me-when-im-dead. However, SFFILM is offering a discount for Wellesnet guests, who can enter the promo code FS8WY5 at the online checkout to purchase discounted ($14) tickets to the screening.
They’ll Love Me When I’m Dead has already been shown at the prestigious Venice, Telluride, New York, BFI London and Lumiere 2018 Grand Lyon film festivals.
SFFILM Doc Series offerings will be screened at the Castro Theatre and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art’s Phyllis Wattis Theater at 151 3rd St.
