Looking to stream an Orson Welles film without subscribing to HBO Max, Netflix or Amazon Prime?
A survey of popular free streaming services uncovered no fewer than five Welles-directed efforts and a dozen other movies featuring him as an actor.
We aren’t talking about dubious websites like 123movies or Fmovies. Rather, there is plenty of Welles fare on legitimate streaming services like Tubi, Pluto and the like.
Also, YouTube has many full-length Welles titles, though the legality of some of the offerings we found is questionable. A quick scan by Wellesnet turned up movies like Don Quixote, Filming Othello and The Trial. Movies featuring Welles as an actor included Tomorrow is Forever, Jane Eyre and Compulsion.
