‘Touch of Evil’ 4K UHD coming from Kino Lorber

Hot on the heels of the Criterion Collection release of Citizen Kane, the folks at Kino Lorber are set to release Touch of Evil on 4K UHD disc.

But which version of the 1958 film? All of them!

This three-disc special edition features 4K restorations of all three versions of the film: the theatrical release, longer preview version and reconstructed edition based on Orson Welles’ original vision. (A collection of the three versions was previously released on DVD and Blu-ray by Universal Studios.)

The Kino Lorber set, which uses triple-layer UHD100 discs, is set for release on February 15, 2022.

Wellesnet first reported back in February that Kino Lorber was teasing a 4K UHD release of Touch of Evil was in the works.
