BBC Radio 4 will rebroadcast Marcy Kahan’s Victorville to mark the 80th anniversary of the release of Orson Welles’ Citizen Kane.
The hour-long drama, first heard in 1998, finds Welles (William Hootkin), Herman J. Mankiewicz (Stanley Kamel) and John Houseman (David Ogden Stiers) at work on the screenplay for the landmark film.
The radio drama was directed by Ned Chaillet.
Victorville will air on Sunday, October 31, and can be found online for the 30 days that follows at bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000bff1.
