With some people Christianity and anti-government rants become a smokescreen for white supremacy. Interesting list of Cooper programs. The ones on the Rosy Cross remind me of one small section of Robert Anton Wilson's Illuminatus Trilogy - 700+ pages of madness - where he says that Rosebud from Citizen Kane was a tribute to the Rosy Cross of the mysterious Rosicrucians. I'll have to give those shows a listen sometime.

That's the guy. Though personally I found Cooper to just be paranoid, not dangerous. The dangerous shortwave broadcaster in the mid 90s was Mark Koernke. Night after night he openly called for the bombing of federal buildings and murder of federal employees, and then we got the Oklahoma City bombing. Wonderful the sort of love you used to hear on a Christian radio station (WWCR.)

I love this kind of stuff. Pretty carazy, but then, according to Brarbra Leaming's book, Welles had White House connections going all the way back to The Cradle Will Rock days, a full year before The War of the Worlds broadcast.

This must be Milton William Cooper, the conspiracy theorist who was killed in a shoot-out with the cops a few years ago? According to the Wikipedia, Rush Limbaugh about 10 years ago read a secret White House memo on the air in which then-president Clinton described Cooper as the most dangerous man in America. Looks like Clinton may have finally got his man.
