Thanks, Tadao, that sounds cool. There's a website out there that lists the 50 greatest sci-fi TV series of all time. Dr. Who came in at #1.

As a variant on usual Hallowe'en listening tonight, I thought I'd throw this one into the mix: a Doctor Who audio drama set against the backdrop of the WOTW broadcast while a real extraterrestrial invasion takes place. It was recorded in 2001 and doesn't seem to have been mentioned here before.

These Doctor Who audio adventures started in the long interim between the 1996 Television Movie and the return of the series to British screens in 2005, and have continued to the present. Of the few I've heard (they work to a very frequent release schedule and have built up to a quite intimidating back catalogue), the quality has been quite varied between excellent and mediocre, I hope that this one will be entertaining. I'm unsure whether it will be available internationally, but the download is currently priced to purchase at the above link for £2.99 GBP which at current exchange rates is only about $3.50 USD! There's a free trailer there too.
