I'm 2/3rds of the way through and have yet to reach this section. My feeling is that the October 9 conversation was recorded but Todd can be contacted on FB to verify this.

I really hope this will be nice and have McGilligan's resorting to scam to sell his books as in his Nivk Ray and Eastwood biographies. And thank you for such information.

I haven't picked up this book as of yet but would appreciate opinions of the coverage of Welles' theatrical ventures in New York City and the contextual comparisons of Welles' vision to what was common amongst other theatre practices. Is there substantial coverage of the socio-political fervent of leftist activities informing Welles' creative/artistic vision as well?
