Has anyone heard or know anything about the new release, THE LIFE OF JESUS on Jerden Records, which is apparently a five CD recording directed, written and starring our obiedient servant, OW?
I saw this CD in a store the other day, but the label gives no indication of who else is featured on these recordings, and it looks somewhat bogus to me. There is merely a vague statement saying the recordings were made by Welles in the late fifties and early sixties with international performers...

I bought this a year ago on audio cassette. The packaging claims "Starring Orson Welles." I listened to as much as I could stand of it, and found Orson NOWHERE. I called the publisher to ascertain the veracity of their claim. They responded that they had an expert who had identified Orson's voice on the tape. In my judgement, it is a bogus claim. AVOID, unless you want it for the black humor of it.
