Re: MY LUNCHES WITH ORSON audiobook
I think the audio book has been canceled. We should all send an email to MacMillian/Metropolitan to request that the audio book is released.

Re: MY LUNCHES WITH ORSON audiobook
If the book continues to sell well, I have no doubt they will do the audiobook.

As posted elsewhgere, this really depends on the qulaity especially if Jaglom did his version of "Orson's Bag."

Re: MY LUNCHES WITH ORSON audiobook
Some of the audio excerpts, like the one in the New York Times web site, had a lot of background noise. I wonder if the background noise can be removed digitally and Welles and Jaglam's voices can be enhanced digitally. This could make a better product. I still would want the raw, poor sound instead of nothing. MacMillian can distribute the tapes with a disclaimer that the sound quality is not good due to the source material. Hopefully someone at MacMillian will see the historical value of these tapes and release a digitally enhanced version of the tapes.
