Not too late for local stations to add War of the Worlds

Post by JohnRabe »

Hi, everybody. I'm John Rabe at KPCC in Los Angeles.
We are distributing a rights-cleared, radio-friendly version of the 1938 "War of the Worlds," introduced by George Takei, as well as R.H. Greene's wonderful documentary, "War of the Welles," also intro'd by George.
It's totally free of charge to any station that wants it, commercial or public. Give both a listen at http://www.scpr.org/programs/offramp/20 ... theworlds/.
It's an easy download at prx.org (which requires a membership), or I am happy to WeTransfer the audio files to any station. Just ask the station to email me at jrabe (at) kpcc.org. (I'm actually carrying around a thumb-drive in case of emergency.)
Cheers,
-- John

Thanks fir the link, John. Congrats to RH Greene on an very entertaining and well-researched program. A worthy follow up to his first Welles radio show, AIRBORNE.
